Commercial Due Diligence Manager - London (Hybrid) - Competitive Salary
About the Opportunity
A leading advisory and consulting firm is looking to appoint a Commercial Due Diligence & Growth Strategy Manager to join its growing specialist advisory practice.
This team works with investors, corporates and business leaders to provide strategic insight, commercial due diligence and growth recommendations across a broad range of sectors. Recent projects have included renewable energy, built environment, industrial products, technology-enabled services and advanced manufacturing.
The role offers exposure to high-profile transactions, strategic growth projects and senior client stakeholders, while providing the opportunity to contribute to business development, thought leadership and team development initiatives.
The Role
As a Manager, you will play a key role in delivering commercial due diligence and strategy engagements, leading project workstreams and supporting the continued growth of the practice.
You will work closely with senior leadership to identify market opportunities, evaluate investment themes and deliver high-quality insights for clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commercial due diligence and growth strategy projects.
- Structure and solve complex commercial questions for clients.
- Oversee project workstreams, deliverables, quality control and team performance.
- Support the development of new methodologies, intellectual property and innovative approaches.
- Contribute to thought leadership, market insights and client proposals.
- Conduct market research and identify attractive sectors, themes and acquisition targets.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practice across the team.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and support their implementation within project delivery.
- Coach, develop and mentor junior team members.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with quality, risk and compliance standards.
About You
You are likely to have experience within a consulting, advisory or transaction services environment and possess strong commercial problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading or managing Commercial Due Diligence projects across multiple transactions.
- Experience delivering growth strategy, market assessment or commercial advisory engagements.
- Strong understanding of B2B, industrials, manufacturing or services sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and deliver high-quality client outcomes.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Understanding of professional standards, risk management and compliance requirements.
