Description

We are looking for a Commercial Efficiency Manager who will sit at the centre of the evolution of our Commercial & Marketing function, driving measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency, scalability, and value creation through AI, automation, process optimisation, and technology-enabled change.

Working directly with the Head of Commercial Strategy and alongside a world-class ecosystem of technology partners, you will identify opportunities, design practical solutions, and take them from initial idea through to implementation, adoption, and measurable commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI use cases across Commercial & Marketing, translating business requirements into practical solutions and taking initiatives through configuration, testing, implementation, and adoption.
  • Drive commercial efficiency and productivity through cross-collaboration across the teams.
  • Design and implement AI agents, automated workflows, and low-code solutions that simplify processes, reduce manual activity, and create scalable ways of working.
  • Build and maintain AI prompt libraries, templates, and playbooks, enabling teams across Commercial & Marketing to use AI consistently and effectively.
  • Map and optimise commercial processes, working closely with functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and maintain a prioritised pipeline of initiatives based on commercial value and impact.
  • Standardise and automate recurring reporting, tracking, and administrative processes, improving the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of commercial information.
  • Lead AI adoption and capability building across Commercial & Marketing through training, a champions network, usage tracking, first-line support, and education around new capabilities.
  • Define and track commercial success measures and KPIs, demonstrating the measurable impact of AI, automation, and process improvement initiatives to the Head of Commercial Strategy.
  • Work closely with technology partners and internal stakeholders, coordinating requirements, managing dependencies, and ensuring solutions are delivered effectively and within agreed governance frameworks.
  • Champion responsible and controlled use of technology, ensuring AI solutions operate within approved data access, governance, and confidentiality requirements, while maintaining clear boundaries around Commercial & Marketing activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
