Job Opportunity: Electrical Engineer

My client is a growing renewable energy contractor delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, delivery, and commissioning of utility-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of LV/MV electrical systems and grid connections.
  • Ensure electrical works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
  • Provide technical support to site teams during installation and commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience as an Electrical Engineer within construction, infrastructure, utilities, or renewable energy.
  • Strong understanding of electrical installations and UK regulations.
  • Experience supporting testing and commissioning activities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Renewable energy or utility-scale project experience.
  • Knowledge of grid connections and G99 requirements.
  • IET membership or working towards professional accreditation.
