Job Opportunity: Electrical Engineer
My client is a growing renewable energy contractor delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, delivery, and commissioning of utility-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of LV/MV electrical systems and grid connections.
- Ensure electrical works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
- Provide technical support to site teams during installation and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements
- Experience as an Electrical Engineer within construction, infrastructure, utilities, or renewable energy.
- Strong understanding of electrical installations and UK regulations.
- Experience supporting testing and commissioning activities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Renewable energy or utility-scale project experience.
- Knowledge of grid connections and G99 requirements.
- IET membership or working towards professional accreditation.
Package
- Salary up to £55,000 DOE.
- Pension scheme.

Location: Remote with site travel required
