Job Overview
Lumix Electrical, Inc. is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in industrial and commercial projects. We are actively growing and seeking a Commercial Electrician to join our highly skilled team. This is an excellent opportunity to launch or grow your electrical career in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As an apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience under the guidance of seasoned professionals, contributing to the safe and successful completion of electrical installations across a variety of sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Foreman or Supervisor in daily job tasks
- Install a variety of raceways (EMT, Rigid, PVC, etc.), ranging from ½" to 4"
- Perform conduit bending using hand, electric, hydraulic benders, and hot boxes
- Install and connect feeders, branch circuits, and control wiring
- Work with a range of electrical systems, including:
- MDP, MCC, HV/LV Panelboards
- Starters, VFDs, Soft Starts, PLCs
- Follow NEC and site-specific safety regulations and electrical codes
- Collaborate with the team to complete tasks on schedule and safely
- Maintain a clean and organized job site

Qualifications
- Up to 2 years of electrical work experience (industrial or commercial preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of a post-high school electrical, maintenance technician, or automation and controls program may be considered in lieu of experience
- Basic understanding of VFDs, PLCs, controls, and soft starts
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Proficient with power tools (drills, saws, wrenches, sockets, etc.)
- Physically capable of standing, kneeling, climbing, and lifting throughout the day
- Comfortable working at heights and wearing PPE (gloves, safety glasses, harnesses, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Basic computer literacy (email, reporting, online training)
- Willingness to travel up to 25% (with per diem provided)
- Must be able to commute or relocate to mid-Missouri prior to start

Schedule
