The Role

We’re seeking a Commercial Enablement Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing our sales organization’s effectiveness. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and delivering GlobalData’s commercial onboarding programme and providing ongoing development and support to reps and their managers— building the skills, habits and confidence they need to ramp fast and hit target.

This role will focus on translating our sales methodologies, product knowledge and onboarding curriculum into engaging and effective learning experiences — and providing post learning advice and support to reps and managers to put that learning into practice.

If you’re passionate about sales excellence and have experience improving sales capabilities to help sales teams succeed, we’d love to hear from you.

As a key member of the Commercial Enablement team, you will work closely with the Onboarding Office, sales leadership, sales operations, subject matter experts (SMEs), HR and product teams to own delivery of our onboarding and coaching programme end to end — from Week 1 bootcamp through to probation sign-off.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Continuously refine the GlobalData’s Kickstart onboarding programme — from Week 1 bootcamp sessions through to the role-specific tracks for SDR, BDM, (S)AM and Manager.
  • Deliver and coach to GlobalData’s core sales methodologies — Value Selling, MEDDPICC, and BANT & SPIN — including scenario-based practice and roleplay.
  • Partner with the Product Enablement team to ensure Value Selling training is grounded in real GlobalData product and solution context.
  • Coach reps on core sales skills — cold call opener, discovery questioning, objection handling, demo storytelling — building proficiency skill by skill as new hires and reps progress through the programme.
  • Provide 1:1 and group coaching to new joiners and their managers throughout the four-month probation period — including roleplay, deal coaching, and structured feedback.
  • Upskill line managers to coach and give feedback on commercial skills — e.g. discovery, objection handling, negotiation — so they can reinforce them directly with their own teams.
  • Drive adoption of AI-augmented selling and AI driven enablement using generative AI tools yourself to build and iterate enablement content faster.
  • Define and continuously improve practical capability standards across onboarding and probation — using roleplay, call evidence and manager observation to assess proficiency — and support managers through calibration and consistent sign-off.
  • Support the programme’s scaling across overlapping cohorts, working within facilitator and SME capacity constraints.
  • Utilise data and insights to drive engagement, identify risk and opportunities and provide strategic reporting to leadership on the efficacy of enablement programmes.
  • Stay current on sales enablement, coaching and AI-enablement tooling trends, and bring new practice into the programme.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in sales enablement combined with hands-on sales coaching (1:1 and group)
  • Experience ramping and coaching new hires through a structured onboarding programme, ideally at volume across multiple cohorts.
  • Working knowledge of Value Selling, MEDDPICC and BANT/SPIN (or equivalent qualification frameworks) — able to train and coach to them, not just describe them.
  • Experience coaching discrete sales skills (e.g. cold calling, discovery, objection handling, demo delivery).
  • Comfortable weaving product and solution knowledge into value-based selling training, partnering with product SMEs.
  • Experience defining or continuously improving practical capability standards and assessment approaches, not just applying someone else’s rubric.
  • Comfortable using generative AI tools to build and iterate training content, and coaching sellers on AI-augmented selling tools.
  • Confident facilitator, in person and virtual — comfortable running workshops, roleplay and 1:1 coaching conversations, and giving structured feedback.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — able to work across sales leadership, HR, Product and Sales Ops.
  • Creative, structured problem-solver, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, still-being-built environment.
