A pioneering clean energy technology company is developing next-generation hydrogen power systems to accelerate the transition away from fossil fuels.

As Technical Applications Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the deployment of innovative hydrogen technologies across the UK and Europe. Acting as the technical interface between customers, engineering and project delivery teams, you will help customers integrate complex energy systems into their operations, developing practical technical solutions from initial engagement through to implementation.

This is a highly visible, customer-facing role suited to someone with a strong technical background in hydrogen, fuel cells, electrolysers, industrial gases or related energy technologies, who enjoys solving engineering challenges and working directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical contact throughout the customer engagement process.
  • Work closely with customers to understand operational challenges and identify suitable technical solutions.
  • Develop system configurations and technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Support site integration activities and advise customers on the implementation of complex energy systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define system architecture, scope of supply and technical solutions.
  • Lead customer meetings, technical workshops, site visits and product demonstrations.
  • Develop technical proposals, application studies and supporting documentation.
  • Provide technical support during bid, tender and due diligence activities.
  • Support project handover into engineering, manufacturing and deployment teams.
  • Represent the business at industry conferences, exhibitions and customer events.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
