MacGregor Black is partnering with a Retail Business on the search for a Commercial Estates Manager. This is a perm role based in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the strategic and operational management of a diverse national property portfolio.
- Lead on property acquisitions, disposals, lease negotiations, renewals, and rent reviews.
- Manage capital investment programmes, refurbishments, and maintenance planning across retail and residential properties.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant property legislation, health and safety, and sustainability requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, agents, local authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead a small in-house team and manage third-party consultants and contractors.

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in estates or property management at a senior level, preferably in a retail-led environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial and residential property law, leases, planning, and asset management.
- Excellent negotiation, budgeting, and project management skills.
- RICS qualification or equivalent is desirable.
- Would suit a chartered surveyor but not essential.
