A client in the industrial manufacturing sector is seeking a Commercial Excellence Consultant to join the team for an initial 5-week engagement.
You will support the delivery of a commercial excellence transformation programme focused on redesigning and embedding a scalable customer-facing operating model across sales, key account management, business development, customer service and field service functions. Working closely with senior consulting leaders and client stakeholders, you will help conduct diagnostic analysis, develop future-state operating models and support the design of practical frameworks to improve commercial effectiveness and drive growth.

Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end delivery of a commercial excellence and Key Account Management transformation programme.
- Conduct analysis across commercial functions, including sales, business development, customer service and field service operations.
- Develop high-quality client presentations, reports, workshop materials and executive-level recommendations.
- Support stakeholder interviews, workshops, benchmarking activities and the design of future-state operating models, governance structures and performance frameworks.
Requirements
- Approximately 5 years’ +experience within management consulting or a similar consulting environment.
- Experience supporting operating model, organisational design, commercial transformation or sales effectiveness projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and own deliverables.
- Exposure to Key Account Management, customer-facing operating models, manufacturing or B2B environments is highly desirable.

Details
- Start Date: ASAP - subject to project confirmation
- Duration: 5 weeks, 4 days per week
- Day Rate: Up to £700 LTD depending on experience
- Location: Hybrid UK-based engagement
