We're Hiring: Commercial External Sales Partner

We are a growing London-focused local news publication looking for an experienced and highly motivated Commercial External Sales Partner to help us expand our advertising revenue, commercial partnerships, and network of businesses across London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales, Marketing, Media Sales, Advertising, or Business Development professional who already understands the London market and has the confidence to approach businesses and decision-makers.
Role
You will be responsible for identifying and developing new commercial opportunities for our publication, including:
- Selling advertising and promotional opportunities to London businesses
- Developing sponsored content and business-feature opportunities
- Building commercial partnerships with local businesses and organisations
- Generating and managing your own sales pipeline
- Prospecting and approaching business owners and decision-makers
- Arranging meetings, presentations, and commercial discussions
- Negotiating and closing advertising and partnership deals
- Maintaining long-term relationships with advertisers
- Identifying new revenue opportunities for the publication
- Working with our internal team to deliver successful client campaigns

Who We're Looking For
We want a proven sales professional, not simply someone looking for a basic sales position.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong experience in Sales & Marketing / Business Development
- Experience in Media Sales, Advertising Sales, Digital Marketing, Publishing, or B2B Sales is highly desirable
- A strong understanding of the London business market
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to generate leads and close deals
- Confidence in dealing directly with business owners and senior decision-makers
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, independent, and commercially minded approach
- Existing relationships or a strong business network across London will be a significant advantage
Commission & Earning Potential
This is a performance-based partnership opportunity.
Your earnings will be directly linked to the commercial business you generate. The more successful business and advertising partnerships you bring to the publication, the greater your earning potential.
