Commercial Finance Analyst

Location: Atherstone

Salary: Up to £48,500 + Excellent Benefits

Are you a commercially minded finance professional looking to take the next step in your career?

We're partnering with a highly successful international organisation to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst into a high-performing finance function. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business where finance plays a key role in supporting operational performance, strategic planning, and decision-making across the organisation.

Combining financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering, you'll work closely with a range of stakeholders to provide insight that helps drive performance and supports business objectives.

The Role

As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and planning support to enable informed decision-making across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and analysing management information and financial reports
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes
  • Monitoring financial and operational performance, identifying key trends and variances
  • Providing insightful analysis to support commercial and strategic decisions
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Producing ad hoc analysis and reporting to support changing business needs
  • Assisting with performance reviews and planning cycles
  • Developing and improving reporting processes, tools, and dashboards
  • Collaborating with finance teams both in the UK and internationally

About You

We're looking for an analytical and commercially aware finance professional who enjoys working with data and partnering with stakeholders.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience within Commercial Finance, FP&A, Financial Analysis, Management Accounting, or Finance Business Partnering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
  • The ability to communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A proactive, curious, and collaborative approach
