We are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Finance team, providing critical analysis, reporting, and forecasting support that helps shape business performance across the organisation.

Job Description:

The Commercial Finance Analyst will work closely with Commercial Business Partners, senior leaders, and operational stakeholders, you'll play a key role in delivering financial insights, supporting strategic planning, and influencing decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop broad commercial exposure across forecasting, business partnering, reporting, systems, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing insightful month-end and quarter-end reporting, including management and board presentations.
  • Analysing financial performance, identifying key trends and variance drivers, and providing meaningful commentary to business leaders.
  • Supporting the forecasting and budgeting processes, helping the business plan for future growth and performance.
  • Acting as a key finance partner for head office functions, providing SG&A analysis, cost reporting, and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.
  • Coordinating headcount reporting and forecasting activities across the business.
  • Supporting capital investment planning, cash flow forecasting, and balance sheet analysis.
  • Developing and maintaining KPI dashboards and performance reporting tools.
  • Working with business stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely forecasts and reporting submissions.
  • Supporting the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing use of financial systems and reporting platforms including SAP BPC, Power BI, Tableau, and Analysis for Office.
  • Delivering ad hoc analysis and reporting that supports both regional and global business initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Fully qualified or finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Previous experience in a Commercial Finance, Financial Analyst, FP&A, Management Accounting, or Business Partnering role.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand and explain business performance drivers.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with reporting and business intelligence tools.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and driven, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience with SAP BPC, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting systems would be advantageous.
