Senior Commercial Financial Analyst

A great opportunity for a commercially-minded finance professional to join a business partnering closely with commercial, FP&A and BI teams to shape strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build financial business cases and analysis to support key commercial decisions, with clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Analyse customer trends, product costs, sales pipeline activity and cost drivers (e.g. commissions) across subscriptions, events and network areas.
  • Develop and maintain scenario models for commercial propositions, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Maintain and evolve the organisation's Long Term Plan.
  • Apply data and analytics to inform long-term financial strategy.

About You:

  • Intellectually curious, detail-oriented and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Enjoys analysing data, identifying trends, and building models and clear summaries.
  • Skilled at shaping findings into recommendations and presenting them confidently.
  • Able to explain financial concepts simply to non-specialists.
  • Strong academics; ACA/CIMA qualified.
  • 5+ years in commercial finance.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial model building.
  • Power BI, Tableau
