The Role
Supporting the Uswitch brand, the role of the Commercial Finance Analyst is to be an effective business partner to the commercial, marketing, product, technology teams, and work with them to understand the drivers of current performance and forecast future performance as well as outlining key risks and opportunities.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll be the go-to finance person for data and insight into financial and trading performance, and will business partner with stakeholders across all departments and product areas.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting of KPI’s and financial performance (P&L to EBITDA); taking stakeholder input through to board presentations
- Understanding current performance and the underlying business drivers through regular reporting, stakeholder meetings and ad hoc analysis
- Support management through monthly cost centre reporting
- Work across the business units to drive improved and consistent data and reporting, including via Netsuite & Tableau
- Be a champion for financial best practice and education to non-financial stakeholders
- Support the Product, Marketing, Leadership and wider Finance function in ad hoc projects

What We're Looking For
- Fully Qualified Accountant with 1 year PQE
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with spreadsheet model creation
- Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude an advantage but not essential
- Proficiency with Tableau or SQL an advantage but not essential
- Expertise in explaining financial analysis to non-financial colleagues
- Intellectually curious with an analytical mindset, as well as a genuine passion for partnering with the business
- The passion for impacting a business in terms of it’s outcomes and customers
- Great attention to detail; knowing how to spot outliers, trends and errors.
- A passion for carrying out robust analysis, underpinning the data with a strong collaborative approach
