Join ASK4 as a Commercial Finance Analyst on a 12-month fixed term contract, where you’ll dive deep into complex datasets, uncover commercial opportunities, and help shape smarter decision-making across the business. If you’re analytical, curious, and excited by the idea of improving how a business understands its performance, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing analytical support across the Commercial Finance team, working with large, multi-source datasets.
  • Building and maintaining models, trackers, and reporting templates that sharpen visibility of key metrics.
  • Cleaning, reconciling, and manipulating raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Identifying trends, anomalies, and commercial opportunities through hands-on data interrogation.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, and long-range planning.
  • Analysing variances between actuals and forecasts and turning them into clear, actionable insight.
  • Delivering high-quality reporting packs, dashboards, and presentations that highlight performance drivers.
  • Partnering with budget owners to validate assumptions and improve financial decision-making.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement across processes, tools, and reporting.

What You’ll Bring

  • A 2:1 degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline.
  • Exposure to financial or data analysis through work experience, placement, or academic projects.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a methodical approach.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A commercial mindset and the ability to translate analysis into meaningful business insight.
  • Curiosity, tenacity, and a passion for continuous improvement.
