Commercial Finance Analyst - Hinckley, Leicestershire / Flexible Hybrid Working - £65,000 - £75,000 - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and successful business on an initial 12-month fixed term contract as a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst. You will be a Qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) Accountant (or experienced QBE) who is good with numbers and can provide strategic financial analysis to drive business performance forwards, as well as insightful guidance and key decision support to senior commercial stakeholders. You will own the monthly P&L and support key stakeholders around budgeting, planning, KPI and variance analysis, and ensuring key senior stakeholders understand the financial performance of the business and how it could be improved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning the monthly P&L
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting for the board
  • Weekly, monthly, and Quarterly reporting to the board
  • Supporting commercial activities from a finance perspective
  • Analysing company performance and identifying risks and opportunities
  • Monitoring and advising the board on key KPIs and identifying key variances
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business including senior non-financial
  • Extensive business partnering with operations
  • Supporting the FD with commercial projects
  • Strong Excel and systems skills are essential

You will be a Qualified candidate with a strong ability to analyse, problem solve, influence, and effectively engage with key senior stakeholders. Strong communication skills, including the ability to challenge stakeholders and gain 'buy in' is essential. This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension / permanent and the business offers an excellent culture and strong progression opportunities.
