Commercial Finance Analyst

A client in the consumer goods industry is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to join the team for 6 months.

You will act as the EMEA subject matter expert for customer invoice pricing, supporting a complex pricing environment spanning thousands of SKUs and multiple retail partners across the region. Reporting into the EMEA Pricing & Promotions leadership team, you will drive pricing effectiveness, support pricing strategy implementation, and help improve pricing processes, systems, and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain customer invoice pricing structures, including trade, volume, and logistics-related discounts.
  • Support the migration of pricing processes from Excel into Oracle, embedding robust controls and governance.
  • Deliver pricing analysis and reporting to assess pricing performance, support price increases, and provide actionable commercial insights.
  • Partner with Sales, Commercial, and Operational stakeholders to resolve pricing issues, improve processes, and support strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong experience within commercial finance, pricing analysis, revenue management, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise managing complex pricing structures and translating analysis into commercial recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with pricing systems and financial modelling tools, strong Excel, ideally including Oracle.
  • Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, retail, or complex SKU environments is advantageous.

  • Start date: w/c 19th October
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Day rate: £300 - £400 LTD per day (or salary equivalent of £55,000 - £65,000)
  • Location: South West London (hybrid, 3 days per week in the office)
