An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to join the Group Commercial Finance team of a high-growth, private equity-backed international business.
This is a highly commercial and analytical role with significant exposure to senior leadership, supporting some of the Group’s most important investment and strategic decisions.
You’ll be responsible for investment appraisal, financial modelling and commercial analysis, assessing opportunities across M&A, transformation, AI, technology and operational improvement. You’ll also track the performance of major investments, ensuring they deliver against their original business cases.

The role will include:
- Building financial models covering ROI, NPV, payback and cost-benefit analysis
- Reviewing and challenging investment business cases
- Tracking strategic initiatives and measuring benefits realisation
- Analysing acquisitions, transformation programmes and major investments
- Providing commercial insight to Executive Leadership and senior stakeholders
- Developing dashboards and automated reporting using Power BI, Planning Analytics and Microsoft Fabric
- Helping improve and automate the Group’s investment appraisal process

About you:
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with excellent commercial and analytical skills. You’ll need advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities, alongside the confidence to challenge assumptions, influence senior stakeholders and turn complex data into clear commercial insight.
