Manpower are currently seeking an interim Commercial Finance Analyst, to work with our global FMCG client Unilever in their Home Care Group, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position is based at Blackfriars on London’s Victoria Embankment, just a short walk from Blackfriars tube. This is a full-time temporary role to run until end of Dec 2026, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £55,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.

The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.

Driving Performance & Strategic Priorities:

  • Monthly month-end close and performance analysis for both actuals and forecast to extract insights, identify hot spots and drive corrective actions.
  • Development and continuous improvement of an effective performance framework to track key KPIs with BUs and global business partners.
  • Support the Monthly/Quarterly reporting/planning cadence together with third-party service providers.
  • Preparation and/or analysis of business cases for strategic projects and innovations in the BG.

Expertise & Leadership:

  • Finance leadership with business partners – exposure to a variety of leaders and functions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the BG Home Care Strategy and agenda, taking ownership of specific initiatives.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Proven track record of being effective in a complex operating environment and driving business performance.
  • Strong business partnering and decision support capability.
  • Ability to identify value creation opportunities and drive them through.
  • Self-confident integrity and objectivity/independence of judgement.
