Commercial Finance Analyst
£40,000 – £45,000 + benefits | Central London | Hybrid Working
A large, well-known retail business is looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst to join its commercial finance team in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to develop their commercial finance and business partnering experience within a fast-paced, high-profile organisation.
Reporting into a senior member of the Commercial Finance team, you will work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders, providing insight and analysis to support business performance and decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Produce regular commercial and financial performance analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning.
- Analyse sales, margins, costs and profitability across the business.
- Provide clear insight into key performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with operational and commercial teams to improve financial performance.
- Support month-end reporting and provide commentary on variances.
- Assist with business cases, investment decisions and ad-hoc commercial projects.
- Help identify opportunities to improve revenue, margin and operational efficiency.

You will be:
- Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
- Currently working in a commercial finance, FP&A or management accounting role.
- Commercially minded with strong analytical skills.
- Confident working with non-finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong in Excel with the ability to interpret and communicate financial information clearly.

Candidates currently working within retail, restaurants, hospitality, leisure, consumer or another multi-site environment would be particularly well suited to the role.
