Commercial Finance Broker
Location: Yorkshire (Hybrid / Field-Based)
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Package: Competitive Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission Structure (High OTE potential)
The Role
Are you an ambitious, well-networked sales professional with a passion for deal-making in commercial finance? We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Broker to join our team in Yorkshire.
In this dynamic, income-generating sales role, you will be responsible for sourcing business borrowers across the region, building a strong network of professional introducers, and matching business clients with the right specialist lenders to secure funding.
Key Responsibilities
Introducer Network & Business Generation
- Build & Nurture Introducer Networks: Establish strong, long-term referral relationships with accountants, corporate finance advisers, solicitors, business coaches, and bank relationship managers across Yorkshire.
- Direct Lead Generation: Proactively identify and connect with regional SMEs, property developers, and business owners seeking commercial funding.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the business at regional networking events, trade shows, and industry forums.

Deal Structuring & Lender Placement
- Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough initial consultations with business clients to understand their capital requirements and financial health.
- Lender Selection: Package, structure, and submit credit applications to our extensive panel of high-street banks, challenger banks, and specialist alternative lenders.
- Negotiation & Completion: Manage the funding process end-to-end—liaising between client, lender, underwriters, and professionals to ensure smooth deal completion and drawdowns.
What We’re Looking For
- Commercial Finance Experience: Proven track record as a broker, lender relationship manager, or commercial sales professional in the UK market.
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial funding solutions, including Asset Finance, Invoice Finance, Commercial Mortgages, Development Finance, and Unsecured Business Loans.
- Established Local Network: An existing network of professional introducers across Yorkshire is highly advantageous.
- Sales Acumen & Drive: A proactive hunter mindset with strong negotiation, credit structuring, and closing skills.
- Client-Centric Approach: Ability to build high-trust relationships with business owners and financial directors.
