Commercial Finance Business Partner

Role Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Business Partner to lead the financial review, onboarding and commercial governance of new THG Ingenuity clients. This is a highly visible role that sits at the heart of Commercial, Operations, Solutions and Finance, ensuring client contracts, billing structures and operational processes are accurately translated into scalable financial and system solutions.

The successful candidate will own the commercial finance onboarding process from contract review through to billing implementation, ensuring clients are integrated efficiently, commercially aligned and capable of being billed accurately from day one. The role requires exceptional organisation, attention to detail and stakeholder management skills, with a strong focus on governance, contract management and process improvement.

In addition, the role will lead a team of four finance professionals responsible for revenue accounting, client profitability analysis, inventory finance, forecasting and fixed cost management.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Review & Client Onboarding

  • Lead the financial review of new client opportunities and contract negotiations.
  • Assess commercial viability, profitability and operational implications of new business opportunities.
  • Partner with Commercial, Solutions and Operations teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
  • Ensure contractual commitments, pricing structures and billing requirements are fully understood and successfully implemented.
  • Provide financial challenge and insight throughout the onboarding lifecycle.

Contract Governance & Billing Management

  • Own the review, interpretation and maintenance of client contracts.
  • Establish and maintain a central contract repository, ensuring commercial terms are accurately documented, controlled and accessible across the business.
  • Ensure all contractual billing provisions are understood and reflected within operational and finance systems.
  • Develop robust governance processes to manage contract amendments, pricing changes and renewals.
  • Act as the key finance contact for contract-related queries and commercial escalations.
  • Partner with Data teams to automate the billing process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
