Commercial Finance Business Partner
Location: Telford / Hybrid - 3 days per week on site.
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday (40 hours)

The Opportunity
We're looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team and support the Sales Financial Controller. In this highly visible role, you'll provide both strategic and day-to-day financial support to the Commercial team, ensuring robust financial reporting, insightful analysis and accurate forecasting. You'll also play a key role in driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.

What You’ll Do
- Partner with Private Label Sales teams to provide financial insight and commercial challenge.
- Manage customer P&Ls and support customer business planning.
- Contribute to Sales Business Reviews and commercial decision-making.
- Build strong relationships across Commercial teams to influence decisions early.
- Analysis of input cost changes and timely update of trackers.
- Provide financial support to customer contract updates and new business tenders.
- Review, analyse and challenge commercial forecasts, risks and opportunities.
- Deliver meaningful financial insights on customer and performance of key products.
- Management of the commercial month end and subsequent financial reporting.
- Lead the annual budgeting process for your business area, partnering with the commercial teams to develop robust plans that achieve business targets.
- Ensure all commercial commitments comply with company governance and approval processes.
What You’ll Bring
- Qualified accountant, preferably with a degree in Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
- Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Financial modelling and analytical expertise.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with stakeholders across different levels of an organisation.
