The University of Strathclyde is seeking an experienced and highly capable Commercial Finance & Business Systems Manager to play a pivotal role within Campus Services Directorate.

The remit spans a diverse portfolio and is integral to driving financial reporting standards and efficiencies across the University’s commercial operations.

Reporting directly to the Deputy Director (Catering, Hospitality and Ross Priory) and maintaining a close partnership with the Finance Directorate, you will deliver sound financial oversight, analytical insight, and assurance across complex income streams, substantial budgets, and vital business systems. Your responsibilities will include collaboration with the University’s Information Services Directorate to support business processes and deliver new technology to enhance the experience of students, staff and customers.

Additionally, the successful candidate will provide management and direction to a dedicated team responsible for financial management, IT and data stewardship, and comprehensive business support within the Catering and Ross Priory section. You will oversee office administration, to provide exceptional support to operational teams and senior management to enable effective and efficient performance.
