Commercial & Finance Controller
£70,000 - £75,000
Birmingham
Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Our client is a multinational food manufacturer.
As Commercial and Finance Controller, you will be the key Finance Business Partner for the Retail UK business and an important partner to the leadership team. You will work closely with the Managing Director, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and the wider organization to translate commercial and operational developments into clear financial insights, realistic forecasts, and concrete actions. A key priority is to strengthen forecast accuracy, commercial performance, and financial decision-making. You will actively challenge business assumptions, opportunities, risks, pricing, and profitability rather than simply report the numbers.

Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Commercial finance controlling
- Proven track record within manufacturing with a strong understanding of pricing, customer profitability, and margin management
- Experience in a retail-facing commercial finance position
- A Master’s degree in Finance or related field (Desirable)
- Fluent use of MS Office, Excel, PowerBI
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
