About us

VPZ is the UK’s number one vape retailer. Since opening our first store in Edinburgh, we've expanded to 200 locations across the UK and we're not stopping there. We are known for setting and driving the standards within the vape industry, this is a great time to join us as we continue to grow.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly commercial, hands on Commercial Finance Director who can do far more than report the numbers. This person must understand how the business actually makes money, where margin is created or lost, how stock and cash move through the business, and how finance can drive better decisions across retail, manufacturing, online, product, supply chain and operations.

The role requires a switched on, commercially curious leader who can build a faster, sharper finance function while also acting as a genuine strategic partner to the owners and senior team.

For the right person, this role has the potential to develop beyond finance into a broader executive leadership position, including possible future consideration as CEO.

Please note, this role requires 5 days on site at our Head Office in Newbridge, Edinburgh.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
