Operating as a diverse, digitally driven finance function, we partner with the business to challenge thinking, inform decision-making, and support in driving operational performance and sustainable growth.

Role Overview

Reporting to the CFO, this is a senior commercial finance leadership role at the heart of the business's growth strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to embed disciplined commercial practices, improve systems and processes, and will be central to building out a forward-looking finance function as the business scales internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Finance & Strategy: Support the development and execution of the company’s strategy by providing financial insight, analysis and constructive challenge to business decisions, assumptions and investment opportunities. Partner with client-facing and technical teams to improve commercial performance, operational efficiency and project profitability, driving sustainable growth and margin improvement.

Deliver insightful financial reporting, KPI analysis and revenue modelling, highlighting key risks, opportunities and actions to improve profitability, cash flow and business performance.
  • Financial Control & Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards and internal policies. Drive best practice in revenue recognition, with a strong understanding of long-term contract accounting, whilst supporting improvements in working capital and cash management. Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels across the business.
  • People Development and Process Improvement: Develop the capability of the finance team through coaching, mentoring and succession planning. Champion continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and controls, including the ongoing optimisation of Dynamics 365, to enhance efficiency, reporting quality and decision-making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
