Commercial Finance Manager | Permanent | £70,000 - £80,000 | London (Hybrid)
Looking for a commercial finance role with greater ownership, visibility and influence?
Keane Recruitment is partnering exclusively with an established organisation looking to appoint a qualified Commercial Finance Manager.
This is a broad and commercially focused position combining financial planning, performance analysis, business partnering and decision support. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, help shape the planning process and provide the insight behind important operational and commercial decisions.
The role would suit an experienced Commercial Finance Manager, FP&A Manager or Finance Business Partner who enjoys combining detailed financial analysis with the ability to influence stakeholders and clearly communicate what the numbers mean for the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning activities.
- Produce clear analysis of financial and operational performance.
- Identify emerging risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to improve financial understanding and decision-making.
- Build financial models, scenarios and business cases to assess commercial opportunities.
- Analyse performance against budget and forecast, explaining the principal drivers behind variances.
- Provide insight into costs, headcount and wider business performance.
- Prepare concise reporting and presentations for senior audiences.
- Challenge assumptions constructively and support stakeholders in delivering against agreed plans.
- Improve the models, reporting and processes used across commercial finance.
- Support wider strategic and ad-hoc finance projects as required.

Key Requirements:
- Qualified accountant: ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or international equivalent.
- Relevant post-qualified experience within commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial-planning experience.
- Advanced Excel and financial-modelling skills.
- Experience producing analysis and reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Commercially minded, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and form an independent view.
- Able to explain complex financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
- Proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Capable of working autonomously while collaborating effectively across a wider organisation.
- Experience gained within a changing, growing or fast-paced environment would be beneficial.
