Commercial Finance Manager - 6 month contract
Hertfordshire, Hybrid working 3 days on site
£70,000–£75,000
Eutopia Search are currently exclusively partnering with a growing, multi-site consumer business to hire a Commercial Finance Manager into a highly visible and genuinely influential role.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond reporting and play a key part in driving performance, shaping decisions, and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
The role
Acting as a true partner to Commercial, Marketing and leadership.
Key areas of focus will include:
- Owning weekly trading and presenting clear, forward-looking insight to the Exec team
- Partnering senior stakeholders to challenge thinking and improve decision making
- Analysing performance across a large portfolio of sites, identifying risks and opportunities
- Driving EBITDA through a focus on revenue, margins, labour and cost efficiency
- Leading regular P&L reviews and supporting action plans to improve performance
- Translating data into clear, concise and actionable insight

Planning & reporting
This role isn’t just about looking back, you’ll also play a big part in shaping what’s ahead:
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Building driver-based models linking operations to financial outcomes
- Delivering high-quality, credible reporting with meaningful commentary
- Helping improve forecasting accuracy in a fast-moving, seasonal environment
Team & exposure
- Working closely with senior leadership, including Ops, Marketing and Finance
- Gaining strong visibility across a business that is continuing to grow and invest

What they’re looking for
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Strong commercial business partnering experience
- Confident communicator, comfortable influencing and challenging senior stakeholders
- Someone who is a strong storyteller and able to bring people on a journey
- Proactive, curious and solutions-focused mindset
- Experience in multi-site, consumer-facing environments is beneficial
