Commercial Finance Manager

This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to step into a highly visible role, partnering with senior stakeholders and directly influencing business performance.
Working within a dynamic and forward-thinking finance team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving profitability, supporting strategic decision-making and delivering meaningful commercial insight across the organisation.
The Opportunity
As Commercial Finance Manager, you will act as a key finance business partner to senior operational, commercial and marketing stakeholders, helping shape trading decisions and future growth strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Commercial ownership of the UK P&L, including budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reporting
- Leading financial planning processes and ensuring alignment with wider business objectives
- Providing insightful analysis of revenue, margins and profitability drivers
- Developing financial models, forecasts and scenario planning to support strategic decisions
- Identifying risks and opportunities to maximise business performance
- Producing clear, meaningful reporting and KPI dashboards for senior leadership
- Partnering closely with commercial, marketing and trading teams to influence decision-making
- Supporting pricing, promotional and investment decisions through robust financial analysis
- Building and evaluating business cases, ensuring strong commercial returns
- Leading regular performance reviews and providing actionable recommendations
- Driving continuous improvements in finance processes, systems and reporting
- Supporting and developing junior finance team members where appropriate

About You
We're looking for an ambitious, commercially focused finance professional who thrives in a fast-moving, data-led environment.
You'll bring:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Strong commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering experience
- A proven ability to influence stakeholders and challenge constructively
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into commercial insight
- Experience building financial models, forecasts and investment appraisals
- Strong Excel and reporting systems experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, driven and solutions-focused mindset
