Commercial Finance Manager – Omnichannel Fashion Retail
Equifind is partnering with a fast-growing omnichannel fashion retailer to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager. It's a pivotal role in the business's next stage of growth, with a strong focus on digital performance and international expansion.
The role
You'll be a trusted partner to the senior leadership team, working across the business to turn data into clear, commercial insight that drives better decisions.
Key responsibilities
Business partnering and insight
- Partnering with the retail, merchandising, e-commerce, and marketing teams to track performance against key metrics and support commercial decisions across all markets
- Working with senior stakeholders to review performance and spend, and turning the numbers into actionable insight
- Delivering ad hoc analysis as business needs arise

Planning, modelling and reporting
- Leading the annual budget and forecasting cycle across all sales channels, covering revenue, margin, and costs
- Building financial models to assess investment decisions, from new stores and market entry to product launches and technology, and presenting clear ROI cases
- Owning the monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting cycle, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities to support time-sensitive decisions
Systems, data and process
- Helping implement and refine systems that improve insight into customer behaviour, segmentation, seasonality, and campaign performance
- Working with the technology and commercial teams to strengthen the data behind financial and KPI reporting
- Driving improvements to financial processes, systems, and reporting, while safeguarding the accuracy and integrity of financial data

Leadership
- Leading and developing a high-performing finance team, with the right balance of support and challenge
What you'll bring
- Qualified accountant (or equivalent), with strong commercial finance experience in a fast-paced consumer business
- The confidence to challenge senior stakeholders constructively and ask the questions that matter
- Sound judgement, balancing data with common sense
- A proactive approach to your own development
