Commercial Finance Manager

This Commercial Finance Manager role for this large, international business is based in Milton Keynes and involves overseeing financial processes to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting. You'll play a key part in maintaining the financial health of the business by managing accounts and supporting the wider finance team.

Description

  • Manage and oversee the revenue reporting process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Business partnering with sales and commercial teams
  • Extensive commercial analysis - providing insight to aid commercial decision making
  • Budgeting, forecasting
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise revenue processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members as required.

Profile

A successful Revenue Controller should have:

  • Strong expertise in analysis / partnering / commercial finance
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and data analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • A relevant qualification in accounting or finance.
