The Role
As Commercial Finance Manager at Kilnbridge, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our growing business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll act as the link between Finance, Commercial and Operations, providing the insight, challenge and strategic support that drives better business decisions across the Group.
This is more than a reporting role. You'll work closely with Managing Directors and senior leadership teams, turning complex financial data into meaningful commercial insight that influences performance, profitability and future growth. From forecasting and cash flow management to KPI reporting and financial planning, you'll help leaders understand not only what the numbers are telling them, but what actions to take next.
If you're looking for an opportunity to step beyond traditional finance, increase your business influence and partner with senior stakeholders in a growing employee-owned organisation, this role offers genuine visibility, autonomy and impact.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
