HW Finance are pleased to be partnering with a successful retail business in West Yorkshire, to hire a new Commercial Finance Manager to join the team.
About the Role
This is a truly commercial role, driving the performance of the division, and using insight to drive change. You will provide relevant analysis to turn insights into opportunities, working closely with the wider finance and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the leadership team to identify risks and opportunities, and support with strategic decision making
- Own performance reporting, ensuring performance is understood
- Manage financial planning process for revenue and costs, ensuring alignment with strategic plans
- Lead assessment of projects and potential investment
- Ensure monthly performance is understood, partnering closely with commercial and operational stakeholders
- Ad hoc support to wider finance team

About You
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- Strong commercial finance background
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability and confidence to liaise with and challenge senior stakeholders
- Ability to build effective relationships and drive improvements to commercial decision making
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical background, with ability to present information clearly
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive and commercial in approach
