About the Role
We are partnering with a large, well‑established and highly successful business to recruit for a Commercial Finance Manager. This is a high‑visibility role supporting senior stakeholders, driving financial discipline across the business and providing robust commercial insight to support investment and capital decisions.
Reporting into a senior finance leader, you will play a key role in shaping the performance across the business. You will act as a trusted finance partner to operational and transformation teams, ensuring strong financial process, high‑quality analysis and clear insight to support decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Business partner senior stakeholders across functions to provide commercial insight on investment and capital projects
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning for operating costs and expenditure
- Provide robust challenge on spend, efficiencies and return on investment
- Own and develop financial models to support business cases, capital prioritisation and investment appraisal
- Track and report performance against budgets, forecasts and approved business cases, clearly explaining variances
- Support governance of capital projects, including post‑investment reviews and benefits realisation
- Contribute to wider finance and transformation initiatives within a high‑performing finance function

Requirements
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a commercial finance or business‑partnering role within a large or complex organisation
- Strong experience of budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
- The ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insight
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively
- A proactive, curious mindset and a desire to improve how things are done
