Equifind is exclusively supporting a leading retail business with the hire of a Commercial Finance Manager.
This is a highly strategic role, partnering with senior stakeholders across the business. The position will play a key part in supporting continued growth, with a particular focus on commercial performance, investment decisions, and international expansion.
Key duties include:
- Partner with key stakeholders across the business to provide commercial insight and support strategic decision-making
- Develop robust financial models and analysis to assess growth opportunities, investment proposals, and key commercial initiatives
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across revenue, margin, and costs
- Produce regular reporting highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to review performance, challenge spend, and support commercial decision-making
- Improve reporting around customer behaviour, segmentation, seasonality, and marketing performance
- Drive improvements across financial processes, systems, and data quality
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team

- Chartered accountant
- Strong commercial finance experience within a fast-paced retail or consumer business
- Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
- Commercially minded, with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders
- Proactive, pragmatic, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
