Commercial Finance, Reporting & Analytics Manager

Buckinghamshire | Hybrid - 2 days office / 3 days remote | Up to £85,000 + generous bonus + benefits

Robert Walters is partnering with a leading FTSE-listed organisation to recruit a Commercial Finance, Reporting & Analytics Manager.

This is a high-profile role sitting at the intersection of Commercial Finance, FP&A, reporting and data analytics, with significant exposure to senior leadership.

The Role

You will take ownership of commercial reporting, sales budgeting and forecasting, performance analysis and management information, providing insight into key commercial drivers including sales, customer behaviour, marketing activity and promotions.

A key part of the role is the hands-on use of data and technology. You will be expected to:

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards
  • Use SQL to interrogate and analyse large datasets
  • Develop financial models, forecasts and performance reporting
  • Analyse campaign and marketing ROI
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting through AI and automation
  • Present commercial insights to senior stakeholders, including FP&A and Investor Relations
  • Line manage one analyst

About You

You will be a fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant with strong post-qualified commercial finance/FP&A experience.

You must have:

  • Hands-on SQL experience
  • Strong Power BI/dashboard development experience
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets
  • Commercially focused analysis and forecasting experience
  • Experience using AI, automation or emerging technology to improve reporting or analysis
  • Strong senior stakeholder communication skills
