Commercial Finance Specialist
The Commercial Specialist will act as the commercial lead on major client pursuits, shaping deal structures, financial models, and commercial strategies for multi-tower service offerings. The role requires strong commercial judgement, advanced modelling capability, and the ability to translate complex client requirements into commercially viable solutions.
This is a client-facing position, supporting sales teams with commercial thought leadership, risk management, and innovative pricing approaches to maximise win probability and long-term profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Modelling
- Lead commercial design for medium-to-large client opportunities, ensuring profitability, risk clarity, and alignment with client objectives.
- Build and own deal P&Ls, cashflow forecasts, pricing structures, and financial models.
- Develop innovative commercial constructs (e.g., gainshare, risk/reward, consumption-based pricing).
- Translate client financial requirements into deliverable commercial solutions.
- Prepare commercial sections of client proposals and present commercial strategies to senior stakeholders.
- Work with legal teams to align commercial and contractual terms, ensuring risks are mitigated and contingencies applied.

Governance
- Lead internal commercial reviews with senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and approval processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audit and commercial sign-off.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Act as the commercial point of contact for internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, operations, and legal to shape favourable commercial outcomes.
- Attend client meetings (virtual and in-person) to support deal shaping and negotiation.
- Provide commercial insight on taxation, logistics, cross-border considerations, and FX (supported by SMEs).

Required Experience
Professional Background
- 10+ years’ experience in commercial management or commercial architecture within a multinational environment.
- Strong track record building complex managed-services commercial models and multi-tower P&Ls.
- Executive-level client-facing experience.
- Advanced Excel modelling capability.
- Degree in finance, economics, business, or related discipline.
