Commercial Financial Controller
Location: London
Job Type: Permanent, £80,000 - £85,000
We're recruiting for a commercially minded Financial Commercial Controller to join a leading UK real estate business. This is a senior finance role on the corporate side of the business. It's P&L focused and covers corporate finance, financial control, commercial analysis and investment reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate finance
- Oversee corporate finance activity, including budgets, forecasts and board reporting
- Own resourcing forecasts and service agreement profitability, making sure fees cover costs and billing matches the commercial agreements
- Support the setting up of new service agreements and fee structures
- Advise the business on finance issues and opportunities
- Line manage the finance team and support tax and audit requests

Financial control
- Manage the relationship with the outsourced finance provider, monitoring performance against KPIs and SLAs
- Drive process and systems improvements
- Help maintain a robust control environment across multiple entities
Investment reporting
- Lead financial reporting for investment and fund structures, including allocation of returns and distributions
- Act as a point of contact for investors and lenders
- Support acquisitions and disposals

About You
- Qualified ACA or ACCA with 4+ years' post-qualified experience
- Strong commercial finance, financial control and reporting background
- Experience managing external service providers
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial analysis)
- Able to combine detail with commercial and strategic thinking
- Confident influencing stakeholders at all levels, and comfortable with change and pace
