Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rochford as part of the Commercial Fitting Teams at Thermoshield Windows Ltd. Team members will install and fit windows, doors, conservatories, orangeries, and related roofline products on commercial properties for local authorities, housing associations, and letting companies. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting installation plans, preparing work areas, measuring and adjusting products for accurate fitting, and completing installations to company and regulatory standards. The role involves working closely with site supervisors, project managers, and other fitters to meet project timelines, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining a clean and professional work environment. Team members may also assist with on-site inspections, minor repairs, and post-installation checks to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Blue skilled worker CSCS card essential
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with commercial clients, tenants, and internal teams.
- Previous experience in window, door, or glazing installation, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use hand and power tools safely, and work at height when required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a fitting team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Full UK driving license and eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
