Role Description
This full-time, on-site Commercial Flooring Project Manager & Estimator role is based in Greater Manchester and focuses on overseeing commercial flooring projects from initial enquiry to completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Assessing project requirements
- Conducting site visits and surveys
- Preparing detailed estimates and quotations
- Planning and coordinating project schedules
- Managing resources and subcontractors
- Ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget
The role involves liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to clarify specifications, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Additional responsibilities include:
- Monitoring costs
- Managing contracts and documentation
- Supporting quality control and post-installation follow-up
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret drawings, specifications, and site information and to develop accurate estimates.
- Effective Communication skills to interact confidently with clients, suppliers, site teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Budgeting and Finance skills to manage project costs, track expenditures, and support profitable delivery.
- Contract Management skills to oversee terms, variations, compliance, and documentation throughout the project.
- Relevant experience in commercial flooring, construction, or related project management is highly beneficial but not essential.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are important.
- Proficiency with estimating software, MS Office, and basic project management tools is advantageous.
- A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required are preferred.
