Commercial Gas Engineer Opportunity

We need an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful applicant will be required to work Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (with overtime optional), travel time will also be included with the role. The applicant will also be expected to work as part of the on-call rota (1 in 6) to carry out PPM and repairs to an industry standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • To carry out routine PPM, servicing, breakdown, and some install work.
  • Reporting back to management of work completed with evidence on our PDA-based system.
  • To work well within a team or individually.
  • To risk assess work/working environments before starting any work to avoid injuries, and undertake all work by Health & Safety and The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998.
  • To identify materials and parts required to carry out repairs to the set company standard.
  • To keep your allocated company vehicle clean and tidy at all times, always wear the correct uniform, and dispose of any waste to company/HSE regulations.

Person Specification

  • Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or TPCP1).
  • Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence desired).
  • Must have proven customer service experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience.
  • Ability to work on a call-out rota - 1 in 6.
  • Must provide proof of qualifications at the interview stage.
