Commercial Gas Engineer (Installation)
OTE
£ TBC depending on experience
Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Out-of-hours call outs are required on a rota basis.
Location
Physically based within the M3 corridor area (preference). Remote or short commutes may be considered.

The Role
At Hopkins Services, we deliver sustainable energy projects from design to installation, while maintaining long-term building performance. With a fast-expanding UK client base (hotels, medical facilities, schools, care homes, etc.), we need a proactive, nationwide Commercial Gas Engineer to install, service, and maintain our critical heating and energy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install high-quality systems (commercial boilers, controls, piping, water heating) across all contracts.
- Perform servicing & maintenance including planned routine checks and preventative measures.
- Diagnose and resolve faults, breakdowns or malfunctioning systems efficiently.
- Document all work clearly, recording installations, maintenance and repairs for compliance and future reference.
- Work independently while also collaborating as part of a team.
- Strict adherence to 健康安全规范 and industry standards (HSG, Corgi, LGA).
- Exceptional customer engagement, taking ownership of client relationships and service delivery.

Qualifications (Not Strictly Essential but Preferred):
✔ Core safety qualifications:
- CCN1 (Domestic Gas)
- CEN1 (Commercial Boilers)
- COCN1 & CODNCO1 (Domestic-Commercial Bridge)
- ICPN1 (<75mbar pipework)
- TPCP1A (Pipe safety testing)
- CENWAT (Commercial plumping & central heating under pressure)
- CIGA1 / CDGA1 (Indirect/Direct fired appliances training)
✔ Technical permits:
- OFTEC (Open/heated flue systems, if applicable)
- LPG (Fuels knowledge)
✔ Licences:
- Full, valid driving license (clean record recommended)
