We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Graduate to join Amey across our Complex Facilities Business Unit.
Starting Salary: £28,500 per annum
Location: Northwest based with travel across the UK.
Start Date: September 2026

An opportunity to join our Complex Facilities team is now available, supporting a diverse portfolio across the Ministry of Justice (MOJ), Public Estates, and Ministry of Defence (MOD)
This varied graduate role will provide exposure to commercial and operational activities, offering the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders while developing an understanding of facilities management, contract delivery, and the essential services that support critical public sector environments.

Responsibilities:
- Providing support to Commercial Managers that help them perform their duties quickly and accurately
- Preparing Subcontract Orders and submit for processing
- Reviewing Application for Payment from subcontractors and preparing Payment Notices on a monthly basis
- Assisting in updating and managing works progress percentages in partnership with the Operations Team
- Preparing SAP Reports
- Assisting in data collection and utilisation exercises, to enable effective decision making and goal setting
- Communicating with clients to cultivate and maintain good relationships
- Assist in the delivery of commercial best practice with risk, change, cost, and value management.
- Be pro-active in identifying the existence of all variations (changes) to the works in conjunction with other Commercial team members
- Managing variations (changes) to the Contracts in conjunction with other Commercial team members and Project Managers.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of action plans to enable proper time, resource, and process management

Requirements:
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Minimum 2:2 Degree in Quantity Surveying (or a related discipline)
- Available to join the programme in September 2026
- Due to this role involving occasionally visiting client sites, it is essential that you have a full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products especially Excel and Word essential
- Excellent communication skills – Written and oral
- High level of motivation and initiative; self-starter
- Confident in engaging with and managing stakeholders
