Commercial Growth Executive - SaaS/AI Startup
📍 Remote – UK
💰 £40,000–£45,000
🤖 AI / Enterprise Technology
🏛 Government, Defence & Enterprise customers
📈 Profitable, growing international business
👥 Working directly with the Founder & CEO
I’m working with a profitable, growing AI company that works with government, defence, and highly regulated organisations across the UK and internationally.
They’re looking for a Commercial Growth Executive to work directly with the Founder & CEO and become a key part of the commercial function.
This isn’t a traditional commission-heavy sales role, hence NO OTE target.
It’s much broader.
You’ll help keep the commercial engine moving, generating pipeline, coordinating tenders and proposals, researching target accounts, supporting campaigns and partnerships, managing commercial operations, and making sure opportunities actually progress.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

They’re open-minded about background.
You might currently work in Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, Bid/Proposal Management, Sales Support, Customer Success or ABM.
More important is that you’re organised, commercially curious, a strong writer, and someone who genuinely enjoys getting things done.
Experience in SaaS, technology, government or professional services would be useful, but isn't essential.
This could be a really interesting opportunity for someone who wants exposure to the whole commercial operation, rather than being boxed into one small part of sales or marketing.
