Job Description

Job Title: Commercial Implementation Manager

Job Grade: C15

Salary: From £45,700.00 DOE and location + Fantastic benefits

Location status: Hybrid (flexible working options available)

Location: Bupa Place, Salford

Permanent/fixed term contract: Permanent

Shift pattern: Full-time 37.5hrs

About The Role

We're looking for a Commercial Implementation Manager to join our UK Insurance Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering strategic growth initiatives, partner propositions, and sales enablement programmes that drive commercial success.

Acting as the bridge between strategy and execution, you'll ensure new commercial opportunities are effectively implemented, operationally embedded, and positioned for long-term success. You'll work across Sales, Operations, Partnerships, Digital, IT, Finance, and Legal teams to bring innovative propositions to market and enable sustainable growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver Commercial Growth Initiatives

    • Lead the end-to-end implementation of commercial growth projects.
    • Support the launch of strategic partner propositions and new distribution channels.
    • Translate commercial strategy into practical delivery plans that drive sales and revenue growth.
    • Ensure sales teams have the tools, processes, and support needed to successfully sell and service new propositions.
  • Enable Strategic Partnerships

    • Work closely with Commercial and Partnership teams to operationalise new opportunities.
    • Design and implement onboarding, servicing, and support models for strategic partners.
    • Coordinate cross-functional delivery across multiple business functions.
    • Ensure partner propositions are scalable, compliant, and customer-focused.

  • Drive Business Readiness

    • Lead readiness activities for commercial and sales-led change programmes.
    • Develop operational processes, controls, training, and guidance materials.
    • Assess customer, operational, and sales impacts while proactively managing risks.
    • Support smooth transitions into business-as-usual operations.
  • Champion Customer Outcomes

    • Ensure all implementations meet regulatory, conduct, and customer outcome requirements.
    • Maintain a strong focus on risk management and governance.
    • Help deliver seamless customer and partner experiences throughout change programmes.
  • Improve and Innovate

    • Capture lessons learned and embed best practice into future implementations.
    • Contribute to the development of repeatable and scalable implementation frameworks.
    • Continuously identify ways to improve delivery speed, effectiveness, and commercial outcomes.

What We're Looking For

You'll bring a combination of commercial awareness, delivery expertise, and stakeholder management skills, including:

  • Proven experience delivering commercial, sales, or growth-focused implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of sales enablement, operational readiness, and go-to-market execution.
  • Experience working with partnership, intermediary, or distribution-led business models.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong planning, project management, and execution capabilities.
  • Experience working within insurance, financial services, or another regulated environment.
  • Understanding of commercial governance, customer outcomes, and conduct risk.
