Electrician Apprentice – Support Commercial & Industrial Power Installations

Job Overview

Company: Lumix Electrical, Inc.
Salary/Pay Rate: $23.00 and up per hour (Commensurate with experience)
Location: Fulton, MO
Job/Employment Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Hours may vary; OT available)
Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Valid Driver's License

You will gain invaluable hands-on field experience working directly alongside seasoned professionals on top-tier commercial and industrial electrical projects. How You Will Make An Impact

  • Assist project foremen and senior electricians with daily electrical installations in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Learn to precision-bend and install electrical raceways including EMT, Rigid, and PVC from ½" to 4" using various benders.
  • Pull, run, and connect conductors for branch circuits, feeders, and automated control systems.
  • Work safely alongside core electrical infrastructure like MDPs, MCCs, panelboards, VFDs, and motor starters.
  • Maintain strict adherence to National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines and site-specific safety standards.
  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe while assisting team members to complete project phases efficiently.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of electrical field experience OR completion of a trade school/technical program with an internship.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and reliable personal transportation.
  • Ability to stand, bend, work at elevated heights in safety harnesses, and wear required PPE.
  • High school diploma or GED with basic tech literacy for mobile or computer reporting.
  • Residence in or willingness to relocate to the Fulton/Mid-Missouri area prior to start date.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for regional projects with full per-diem provided.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Up to 2 years of hands-on experience in active commercial or industrial electrical environments.
  • Basic foundational understanding of electrical blueprints, control schematics, VFDs, and Soft Starts.
  • Proven experience safely operating hand tools and power tools like drills, saws, and wrenches.
