Commercial & Industry Intelligence Manager

RWD is looking for an exceptional Commercial & Industry Intelligence Manager to help us better understand our market, our commercial landscape, our opportunities and the information that supports our decisions.

At the heart of this role is curiosity.

We’re looking for someone who wants to understand what is happening across the global yacht industry, which yachts are being built and where, how the yards and broker networks are evolving, how the client and prospective client landscape is developing, where opportunities may be emerging, and what our own commercial history can teach us.

You’ll bring that information together and turn it into clear, useful intelligence that helps RWD make better decisions.

You’ll take ownership of our CRM and commercial information, build a much clearer picture of our pipeline and wider industry network, and ensure valuable knowledge held across the Studio is captured, connected and actively used rather than sitting with individuals or across disconnected systems.

There is also a practical commercial side to the role. You’ll work closely with our Directors and New Clients & Proposals team as opportunities develop, using commercial history, pricing and fee benchmarking to support decision-making and preparing initial design agreements for review and approval.

This is a role for someone who enjoys finding things out, joining dots and creating order from complex information. You’ll need strong analytical and commercial judgement, but equally important is the ability to communicate what you discover simply and explain why it matters.

If you are fascinated by the yacht industry, commercially minded and naturally want to know what is happening, who is involved and what it might mean for RWD, you’ll thrive here.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
