The Advocate Group is proud to be partnering with a leading FMCG business to recruit a Commercial Insights Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced commercial team where you'll play a key role in supporting Category, Sales and Shopper Marketing through high-quality reporting, actionable insights, and innovative data solutions.
This isn't just a reporting role. Alongside delivering business-critical insights, you'll help shape the future of commercial reporting by improving processes, developing interactive dashboards, and supporting the adoption of AI-powered reporting tools.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver insightful reporting that supports commercial decision-making across Category, Sales and Shopper Marketing.
- Create customer-facing reports and dashboards that bring complex data to life.
- Translate data into clear, compelling visualisations and recommendations for a range of stakeholders.
- Partner with commercial teams to understand reporting needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Help develop new reporting capabilities, dashboards, and AI-driven solutions to enhance business performance.
- Support the ongoing evolution of reporting systems, data governance, and data quality.
- Drive efficiencies by identifying opportunities to automate and improve reporting processes.

About you
You'll be commercially minded, naturally curious, and passionate about using data to influence business decisions.
You'll bring:
- Experience within an FMCG or consumer goods commercial environment.
- A background in Commercial Insights, Category, Sales Analysis, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong experience producing customer-facing reports and commercial dashboards.
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience using Power BI or similar visualisation tools.
- The ability to simplify complex data into meaningful, actionable insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and embracing new technologies.
