Contract: Full-Time Permanent (37.5 Hours Per Week)
We're looking for an exceptional strategic leader to build and lead a market insight and activation capability that directly drives commercial growth.
This is not a traditional market research, business intelligence, marketing, or sales role.
Instead, you'll use research, evidence, market intelligence, and activation programmes to influence how healthcare markets behave, challenge established thinking, and create sustainable competitive advantage across our healthcare and nutrition businesses.
Working directly with the CEO and senior leadership team, you'll design and lead a market insight engine that turns evidence into action, influences NHS procurement and clinical decision-making, identifies new growth opportunities, and helps shape the future direction of the business.
If you're commercially minded, intellectually curious, and motivated by impact rather than reporting, this is a rare opportunity to build something transformational.
About You
We're looking for a strategic, commercially minded leader who combines analytical rigour with the ability to influence and drive change.
About The Role
As Commercial Insight, Research & Market Activation Lead, you will own the end-to-end process of turning market intelligence into commercial outcomes. You'll combine strategic insight, healthcare market expertise, NHS procurement understanding, category analysis, stakeholder influence, and scalable activation programmes to drive growth across the organisation. You'll work across commercial, innovation, R&D, finance, and leadership teams, using insight to influence decisions ranging from tender strategy and market access through to innovation pipelines, investment priorities, and category expansion.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
