Job Opportunity: Commercial Account Executive

Location: Winchester

Salary: £50,000–£80,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Bonus Scheme

Are your new business figures growing faster than your salary?

Perhaps you feel undervalued by your current broker, your earnings no longer reflect the income you generate, or you are simply ready to join a more ambitious business where your contribution will be properly recognised.

If so, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.

About the Company

CKB Recruitment is working with a rapidly growing insurance broker, who are part of a very well known and well thought of group in the industry. The company now employs approximately 30 people at its Winchester head office and, as well as having an East Anglia operation, has ambitious plans for continued growth and expansion.

The Role

They are now looking for a driven and commercially minded Commercial Account Executive who can win new business, develop lasting client relationships and play an important role in the firm’s continued growth.

A genuine platform for growth

This broker generates a significant flow of high-quality commercial leads, giving you a strong platform from which to create opportunities and grow your own book of business.

There is no requirement to bring clients with you, although naturally any portable business or existing relationships would be welcomed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
